Spodovir is liquid formulation of Polyhedral Inclusion Bodies of Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus (NPV) of Spodoptera litura and is highly active on Spodoptera caterpillar. NPV when ingested by the larvae cause severe infections in the larval body causing darkening, disintegration of tissues, larval death and release of whitish fluid within 2-4 days of application at young larval stages.
Spodovir is highly active on Spodoptera litura caterpillar which is major pest of cotton, groundnut, pulses, cabbage, chillies, tobacco, oil crops and roses.
